Shipping a Watch
Good evening everyone. Just a quick quesetion...when shipping a watch does it matter if the watch is running or has stopped? i have a possible buyer for my Daytona and want to ship it the safest way.

I heard from several watchmakers that it's better to have the watch running during shipping...

I would give it 30-40 winds if it isn't already running, screw in the crown, package it very well, insure it for $15000 and send her off!

It does not matter if its running or not. The KIF shock protection works either way.
