Yes the watches they are now discontinued but you can still get the inserts

They really need to make a ceramic Pepsi.

Actually, I'd prefer to see the old aluminum inserts in a bigger version after all the mishaps that happen with ceramic. AND, they must add a more substantial feeling bracelet.

That would be one of my dream watches.

The Pepsi GMT Master was discontinued in 1999/2000

The Pepsi GMT II continued in production until it was replaced with the ceramic bezel (black only) version that was introduced in 2007.. There was probably some carry-over for a year or so after that......

Z Serial is the last, I believe, for the 16710 GMT II...an earlier post dealt with the last year for the 16700 GMT. I own an F (2004) serial 16710.

Would definitely love to see a ceramic pepsi... I know its been brought up numerous times before. I think now that they have shown the bi color with blue and black its time for a red and blue... Wonder if they will ever produce such a beast. Figure they must know the vintage market is hot for the Pepsi so wouldnt that beg to wonder if the new market would have the same intensity....

Joe: After I posted I thought I may have heard of the 3186 in the last Z's instead of the 3185. But I didn't know they actually made an M serial 16710. I've owned and flipped a D and a Z serial 16710, both 3185's, but I've looked and never seen an M "in the wild" or online. (I probably didn't look hard enough, but I've never seen one for sale.).

No worries, Keith.

You are correct , the '86 movements were used in the late Z & all of the M's. I've got an M Pepsi which will be passed on to my oldest son...he's got dibs.

Ha! I should have known that the only place it would be was in the closely-guarded possession of a fellow TRF'er. I can see why it's never for sale...it's always an heirloom, being the last of its kind. You ought to nickname it "Uncas".

Any idea how late in the Z? I have a 600,000 or so serial #.

Yes M series and they do have the 3186.

Here is mine when I first un boxed it. Now in rotation with my SD and speedy 3572, etc...
