Thanks, that is really good info. I thought it was really hard to scratch and the brown color is baked in.

I have the 339 and I have not had any issues with the case or caseback..
the composite has a way of healing itself with scratches (with some rubbing)and it is was my weekend play piece...not worried at all about the scratches...
strap combos were hard with the brown case...
its the most comfortable 47mm due to its weight...

No worry about that Eric, unless you use alcohol or perfume to clean your watch to apply it on your wrist all the time, then you should worry. i only use this with the warm water to clean all my watches:

I thought about it over the weekend and I am going to hold out for a 504. The auto movement is just not for me.

Looks like you're aiming for a composite and the 504 is a great choice. I personally prefer the manual P.3000 as well as the full set of numbers (in lieu of the date). *Now* that I am a friend of the Black Seal logo (...) I nonetheless have to nod once again towards the 504's clean face...

Perhaps it's because I own a very busy 233 that I'm now looking for a simpler 2nd PAM... and that goes double for Radiomirs
