Tony Soprano Passes

James Gandolfini just passed away in Italy. Maybe heart attack or stroke. Just 51!

RIP "Tony"

That is truly a shame. Very nice, talented guy who worked his way up. RIP, James.

I still hope that this is some kind of an internet rumor as I haven't read any confirmation myself but if it's true it sure is very, very sad. He was a great actor and way too young indeed...

Miserable, tragic, sad sad sad. I'm very upset. He was so young, such a great talent. (Major media are reporting it by now.)

HBO had just picked up a limited run of his new series, of which apparently 7 episodes were filmed. I hope that can be completed, so we can see the work.

A friend of mine introduced his young son to him at Brooklyn Nets game this year. He was cordial, joking, posed for pictures..and told the boy to go to Rutgers, his alma mater.

What a shame. Just the other day I saw a list where the Screenwriters Guild had rated 'The Sopranos' the best written TV show, ever.

Only Tony could do the yard work wearing a DD and make it look natural...

James G. was a humble unassuming soul who paid his dues and built his character(s) from within. Sad untimely passing.

Just saw this on TMZ. It's a shame he passed so young. I really enjoyed his work.

The Sopranos was my most favorite series ever. It was the only reason I subscribed to HBO.
James Gandolfini was a natural as Tony Soprano; however he was nothing like the character he played. He was a great guy, a great actor and he left us much too soon. May he RIP.

RIP, James.

I feel a Sopranos tribute marathon coming on tonight. It may take me a few weeks to get through it again but it is so worth it.
