New Tool = Perfect Fit
I was in between strap holes on my 44FC standard rubber strap so...
Purchased the Bergeon 6730. Dialed up Clearwater and ordered a short strap - thanks for the tip Paul!  Mounted a short strap on the 44FC (strap side only) for a perfectly dialed in fit. Almost feels like a took a 1/2 link out of my rubber strap.

It's for straps that have screws on both sides (i.e. you need two screwdrivers). Allows one to place watch on base with whatever size screwdriver, and hold it down while removing other side with screwdriver in your hand.
