Battle scars? I can only just make out some light flesh wounds!

That's what I'm talking about! I think DJ's age very gracefully! That has lived a harder life then mine (plus twice as long) but it still looks great :)

I see many people choosing the 41mm when they probably should have the 36mm. Saw one on another forum not long ago and it was just way too big.

Honestly, I can't see any signs of wear based on the pictures. If you told me that you pulled it out of the box yesterday, I would believe you.
I have other WIS friends who always poke at me for having a 'small watch' but I couldn't be happier with the size I chose. It was the DJII that opened me to this bezel / bracelet combo but it didn't sit right on my wrist. The origonal 36mm was the answer!

See now that's cheating!

Every few months is overkill in my opinion, once a year is ok but why not gather a hoard and let Rolex sort it out on the next service

I guess it depends on how long you want to keep it but constant buffing is going to irreversibly wear the edges off everything. Especially don't buff the bezel too much or you'll transform it into a smooth/domed one in no time

Top marks for wearing it daily and enjoying it though, we see an awful lot of safe queens on the forums..

That's great advice Re: the clothe use. I don't go near the bezel and never plan to touch it. I'm pretty careful with it as I have seen what over polishing does to the clean lines of these beauties on our wrists ;)

Lets see the Rolex's that you wear and enjoy as they are meant to be!

David SW if you read this, thanks again my friend! I will purchase another from you someday soon!

Nice watch and glad you've looked after it so well.

Looks better looked after.
