6 weeks after the warranty ran out the mainspring went in it.
The repair was covered under the expired warranty and I got it back with a full 2 year service warranty.

Update: dropped it off today, needs an overhaul, covered under warranty. Odd as was NOS when I bought it and has been in heavy rotation, oh well...

Let me see........I am going to pay an extra $1,000-$2,000 just so I can have a 2 year warranty for the rare possiblility that my watch fails in the that time period. No thanks, pre-loved and send it in to Rikki if there happens to be a problem. I trust him over RSC anyways.

The personal care of an individual watchmaker is so far superior over.........who really knows who services your watch at RSC?? I mean......they won't even tell you what was wrong with your watch?!! That is BS. I think it is reasonable to know what happened and why it failed. I mean, it is your watch. Rolex sometimes treats the consumer like we are leasing their watches and they really still own them.
