It does not cost thousands to replace a ceramic bezel, where do guys get this stuff. Gross exaggeration....It's simple, if you can't afford the the oil changes, tires, insurance, you know maintenance, then don't buy a Ferrari(not directed at you, just general statement to all complainers).

A G-Shock battery cost $3 and a Fossil watch will run you $150, for a whole watch....no pesky bezel price worries for either.

Okay, I hadn't seen any numbers since the initial reports came out and Google just showed me it's closer to $450. Sorry for the misinformation. Still, I'm just not a fan of the glossy ceramic bezel. The matte ceramic on the Pelagos with the lumed numbers still has a tool watch look IMHO, and YES that is one I am actually considering buying.

My first reaction on seeing the subject was "Sea Dweller with new lume, ceramic bezel and glide lock? Hell yes!" but on reflection I think I feel the same as others - the 16600 is damned near perfect as it is, so no.
