I could not manage to screw any sort of discount in the UK for my LV although I had the cash in the bank. I also like to pay upfront but what was the point. I took advantage of the 12 months interest free deal and at least I get some interest on my money in the bank which equals a bit of discount.
Discount for cash does not seem to work any longer.
I tried the same approach when I recently bought a new Audi S3. They were not interested in a discount for cash deal.
