Servicing and keeping things original

I am planning to send my Oysterdate Precision SS in for servicing. I would like to know what is best to keep and what is ok to change keeping in mind the future resale value.

I would imagine that changing the acrylic crystal is ok but it is important to keep the face. How about changing the needles.

Thanks

Crown tube and crystal are ok to replace, try to get the parts returned to you (not possible if you're going through a RSC). Don't touch the dial or hands, and request that the case is not refinished.
