Platinum Daytona
Can I just say that pictures do not do this watch justice. The bezel is darker in person and the dial is more silver. What puts it over the edge is the weight of the watch. It gives a real presence. This is going to be a classic some day.

I tried this one last weekend....the weight is just unbelievable....can't put it in words until you actually hold the watch.

Looked at it yesterday at my AD. Wow, pictures do NOT do it any justice. It's amazing in the metal. The weight is freaking out of this world on the daytona, it's gorgeous. It really is. I never thought a white metal, brown and blue would look well together but dang. It really is stunning. Couldn't agree more. I for one am no longer upset with rolex.....now if 2014 doesn't bring a pepsi bezel gmt iic I will be angry ;)

It's part of the regular line (Rolex doesn't do limited editions). I have to say when it was first launched, I didn't think it was particularly oustanding. Over time, I've come to see it as a very handsome watch - too expensive for me, but definitely droolworthy!! |

Money comes and goes (mostly goes for me)...but a Rolex is forever (or should be, IMO). They are like Leica lenses (never sell them).
