Primary card is Fidelity AMEX - gives me 2% cash back on every purchase.

Honestly, I hate all credit cards. But if I had to choose one, it would be the one that pays me back in abundant points for every purchase, with an extremely low interest rate that would make you dizzy when thinking about how much you are ripping them off, only to realize that it's run by a bank network who's sole purpose is philanthropic, and the books always say they are hemorrhaging money. And one which pays you dividends, of course

A friend/colleague of mine is really into getting/using various cards for rewards, since they often do monthly/quarterly/seasonal cash back deals that change regularly, so he switches between which cards he uses depending on the situation.
I'm not that frugal, I guess. I just carry two cards: AMEX Gold Premium Rewards Charge Card and a BofA Visa Credit Card. The AMEX is my primary. The Visa CC is a backup in the event the merchant doesn't accept AMEX. I never carry my Debit Card unless I know I need to get cash and I know the bank is closed (e.g. Sunday). The debit card never gets used in any point-of-sale, whether swiped or on the Internet. All this is for security. While it's true that your checking funds are 'insured'/protected if the debit card is compromised, the time in which to your money gets returned/recredited can vary in terms. If a CC gets hit, it's so quick and easy to get the fraudulent charges contested (plus the company often sees it first, especially with AMEX). |

Visa and Mastercard, both regular free of charge cards from my bank. Interest free on credits if I pay within 2 months which I always do. So basically free, but also no cash backs, I'm fine with that.
