I inherited my father's YG DJ 1601 (bought new circa 1963) in 1987......he had bought it on a strap, but switched out strap to a rather interesting matching 18K YG bracelet he got in Peru w/ Incas on the panels......not my cup of tea, so I traded it for a Tudor sub & got a Rolex made black Java lizard strap & YG Rolex tang buckle.....I'm on my 3rd Rolex black Java lizard strap which I got a couple of years ago, buckle's still good.
3 straps in 26 years....I am happy with Rolex straps.
