Rv fifth wheel towing

Just curious if anyone tows a fifth wheel and what your tow vehicle is. Considering a move from a trailer, just not sure. Thanks

A friend, a retired airline pilot, tows his very large 5th wheel with a dually diesel and is on the road a lot. Right now he's in Florida with it but he will pull up stakes about New Year and go to Texas for a while and then to Arizona for a while.

I use my 08 tundra 5.7L supercharged truck so the power is there and the fifth wheel is maxing out the 10800lbs the tundra can tow but I made shock upgrades and several others and I have no issues.

DRW is safer both because of the increased load on the rear tires and if you have a blow out you are much less likely to have issues with DRW.

I don't but my friend has been towing 5th wheel RV's for a long time. He and his father went in 50/50 on it so his parents use it when they want and my friend uses it with his family when he wants. His father has an F250 4x4 diesel and my friend has an F350 4x4 diesel. Both are manual transmission vehicles..
