I appreciate it a lot.
To tell the rest of the story, my father was diagnosed with bladder cancer last November. After finding it was isolated to the bladder, he started chemo, for three months. Following the chemo, he had surgery to remove his bladder. The surgery was this past May. He dropped it off for service prepaid in April, before the surgery. I think he intended to get it serviced in case something went wrong with the surgery. Got really emotional seeing the receipt for service and knowing what he was going through at the time. The watch was returned in June, and the knowledge of my promotion was known in August. My father is now 100% cancer free, and adjusting to life without a bladder. It's funny how life puts things in perspective sometimes. Wearing the Sub watch means a lot more to me now after supporting him through the last year. Thanks a lot gents, I really appreciate the nice comments. |
