Submariner 16800
Hi there gentlemen,
16800 is listed on gumtree for a good price. But the crown guards don't seem to be alright. They don't seem to be evenly spaced from the crown. You could notice that there is more air between the lower guard and the crown. Could this be a fake? Thanks in advance for any responses. http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/vaucl...ner/1034912297 Regards, Vishy |

Seller claims that the dial, face and hands were replaced with new parts during the overhaul that was performed at Rolex service center. Could anyone confirm the authenticity. I am a bit suspicious about how the crown guards are looking.

Welcome to the Forum!
Pics not the greatest but the watch looks fine to me. A bit over polished and priced but if you are serious about getting it, you may want to inspect it more closely locally. Band appears loose, check the sagging and serial on the case to match the papers. You could do better for that price. Good Luck.. |

Thank you Gentlemen. Seller doesn't have any paper work except for servicing papers. I might need to get it checked at my watchmaker's place. The price is in AUD though, so its roughly at USD 4400.
