Platinum Daytona and White Gold Sub
I recently had a chance to view both watches. They're definitely heavier than SS. I noticed the WG Sub seems to wear larger than 40mm and is very easy to read. The Daytona is a stunning piece but with my eyes the amount of detail on the dials is hard to see. Despite that, both are on my grail list! Sorry for the bad pics.

There is no bad picture of a WG Sub, it may be the most naturally photogenic timepiece ever made. Not bad on a wrist, either.

Those watches are indeed very lovely, I really like the color combo on the Daytona.

The Daytona is something mythical for me, so pictures will suffice. The white gold Sub is almost maybe sorta kinda within reach, but I'd have to lose two watches for it. It's one of the most gorgeous watches on the planet, bar none.

After seeing the WG in person late last year, I'm seriously considering it as a potential purchase in 2014. Depending on the money pit....
