For me it will be something different to do, that being looking at what time it is there. And I enjoy the Olympics, always have.

Yeah, I do too. I'm not particularly into winter sports really except for hockey but I have to admit I get sucked in to the network production with all the cameras, commentary, and back stories.

I've always been a big fan of the Olympics as well. For some reason I have a bad feeling about this one...hopefully our athletes come home safe (and with the gold!).

That's a great idea unless you are planning on watching the tape delay broadcast during prime time.

Why the hatred of Sochi, from what I have heard it is a lovely place. I don't expect any issues at all.

Assuming Sochi time is not the permanent reference for your 24 hour hand and you will reset it after the Olympics are over, why not simply rotate the bezel to track Sochi time instead of resetting the watch?

That's exactly what the bezel is for, to calculate a third time zone.

Excellent, thank you!

Bad timing (no pun intended) on my part. Just sent my GMT in for service. By the time it returns the Olympics will probably be over.

Usually I'm interested in the Olympics but with Russia and they're corruption allegations and wildly public anti-gay rehtoric they won't get any of my viewing time. Just not interested this time 'round. My least favorite omega has become the Sochi Seamaster lol

There will be issues. A CBS Report last night had a story on hackers over there. CBS arrived with brand new laptops and other internet devices and had a security firm monitor them and put false information on them. As I recall, one device was hacked with in five minutes and the others with in 24 hours. It will be interesting.
