Another major 2014 Novelty...........
We know of the long standing RG ROO Chrono Tourbillon and the new Platinum version, but the titanium version I haven't seen until now, apparently limited to 30 pieces. Anyone have any insight please?

Looks like but I'm sure not sure about the numerals, either the color or the mere fact that they're on the dial. With a watch that complicated and with the semi-open dial I think it would have been nice to keep it more simple around the holes by making darker numerals or perhaps replacing them by sticks.

Just took a look at other variations of the same watch, seems like the numerals fit better on those ones...is it because they match the colors of the watch better? Is it the fact that the pictures are lighter? I think the white markers look somewhat nicer and fit better than the yellow/green ones.

i like green lume, so, for me, breaking up the different shades of grey with a touch of green is a nice touch and helps differentiate this titanium version.
that being said, for me, for this model, it's platinum & blue. |

Have not seen the Titanium one and have no recollection of it from the meetings at the SIHH. Here's the article on the ROO Tourbillon Chrono in Platinum. Enjoy!

Thanks everyone, I was surprised to see it too - collectively we are all pretty well plugged in and noone had mentioned it. From the photos, the Platinum is probably the way I would go, but I would really like to see the titanium in the flesh before deciding.

Oh that Plat is to die for. I have seen the ROO grand comp in Ti at Marcus, it looks amazing, but we are talking completely different dials

In this range I prefer the carbon concept Chrono or the titanium concept GMT.
