Do these watches really need nicknames? I'm not sure. Having said that, I have been known to refer to the DSSD as 'the beast'. If people are really searching for a ridiculous nickname, I would have suggested 'Superman', but someone beat me to it. Otherwise WG GMT IIc BLRO? I doubt anyone who posts here regularly wouldn't understand that!

Agreed. If a nickname really is necessary, how about calling it the "Juan Trippe?" That's a good reference to PanAm and also that acknowledges the fact that a regular line pilot would be a bit foolish to spend so much on a watch. This is priced for the Captains of industry like Mr. Trippe who built the airline.
