FS: IWC Portuguese 3714

For sale is an IWC Portuguese Chronograph, model 3714. Sale includes the watch, original black strap and tang buckle, aftermarket brown strap, outer and inner box, instruction book, guarantee book, and IWC service pouch. The watch is in very good condition with minimal signs of wear. It is currently on an aftermarket Vintage-G brown strap with the original buckle. The original black IWC band was worn maybe 1-2 times as I prefer the watch on a brown band. The only flaw is a small scuff on the crystal near the 20 minute marker on the chronograph register. It is only visible if you really look for it and only at certain angles of light. I cannot get it to show up in a photograph, but I have adjusted the price downward accordingly (a new crystal was $210 at IWC as of 9/2013).

It did receive full service in September 2013 at IWC through the Beverly Hills Boutique and is therefore under warranty until September 2014 (paperwork included). Asking price is $4500 via Paypal (I'll eat the fees). This price includes shipping within the CONUS only, and I am not interested in trades. I hate to see this go because it is a classic watch design but an AP ROC is calling me . Although I'm relatively new on TRF, I have a long history on eBay and have completed transactions here and on WUS. Additional contact information/references will be provided to appropriate parties as needed. PM for any questions since notifications go to my phone.

For clarification purposes:

Sale includes the original watch, original black strap and original tang buckle. The IWC outer and inner box, instruction book, guarantee book are genuine but were bought afterwards to complete the set. The IWC service pouch came with the watch after service in September 2013.

The only real flaw other than a few hairlines is a small scuff between the 19- and 20-minute marker on the chronograph register. It is only visible if you really look for it and only at certain angles of light, and I think it is in the AR coating, not the actual crystal.

Hope this clarifies things.
