Just an update
Hi all,
Wanted to pop is and give you guys an update. So far everything is great. Studies are going good, so much to do but love the challange . So much has happened so here are the highlights: As far as school is concerned. My classes are great. Have to do ethnography this semester and I am looking forward to the learning experience. Also have to go a HUGE grant proposal UHG!!!! Our club is also doing our annual fund raiser for the local Hospice. Last year we raised over $3.000. Hoping to do better this year. There in one thing in particular about this semester that bothers the sh*t out of me. So I come to my anthropology class thinking that there will be 7-8 of us grad students, but when I get there, there is like 25 ppl in the room. Like 20 of them are undergrads, I don’t mind that they are there but what I do mind is the fact that the grad students and the undergrad’s will be graded the same. I mean c’mon, not only am I paying double for the same class but I am also getting graded the same as the undergrad. I’m sure the professor will tare the papers down a little more carefully but still. As far as outside of school is concerned some great news 1. Brother will be graduating high school and he has decided to major in civil engineering. ( I am so proud of him). 2. Cousin who finished med school passed his board exam and is now starting his residency. ( I will be partying this weekend) 3. Best friend also did well on the LSAT’s got accepted to a real good law school. Miss you all very much and will try to swing by as often as possible. Lots of love, Dina |

Hi Dina,
Thanks for the update and for all the news. Glad you're doing well and working so hard to achieve your goals. Send that professor to me so I can show him a few pointers on how to treat his students, especially the girl ones! Also, you can tell him that you're an A-grade Grammar student and if he messes up on his Grammar, you tell him Professor JJ has ordered him to do 50 push-ups. You just tell him, girl!! See you and take care, Dina. We miss you. Best wishes - JJ

Thanks for stopping by with the update. You know your TRF family always wants to keep tabs on you and the other members of the family. Good luck on the schoolwork and remember the old adage:
Illigitmi non carborundum!! And some other words of wisdom: A positive atittude may not solve all your problems but it will annoy enough people to make it worth while. And don't forget: Seminars, n.: From "semi" and "arse", hence, any half-assed discussion.
