Icon10 Bit the bullett ...

... took the plunge, dropped the hammer ... well, you get the idea.

A brand spanking 14060M COSC will be winging its way to me within the week

I can hardly believe I've done it ... I only have all of you to blame

Should land at under $5,000 AUD ($4,700 USD) from an AD which is an OK price by me.

Will post pics when I can.

Thanks all

Justin

Just bought one myself, and to be honest I didnt think I was going to love it 1/2 as much as I do. For some reason the non dated it so much more attractive to me then the date that I catch myself starring at it, then of course I scratch my head and wonder what the date is today, but that goes away fast!!! LOL
YOU'LL LOVE IT!

Thanks all. This is one of those things that will only be real when I can actually hold/wear it. You are right, I can hardly wait

Steve,

That photo was the image in my mind when I hit "send" on the email confirming the purchase. You can feel justly proud

Cheers,

Justin

Congrats, Justin!

The 14060M COSC is an awesome watch, and I might also become an excellent investment IF Rolex decides to upgrade the whole Sub range.

I look forward to seeing the wristshot!

Dear All,

I am humbled by the outpouring of good wishes and affirmations for my impending arrival.

I know I am going to love this watch - something I have been drooling over for months Hopefully the wait won't kill me in the meantime

It seems to me the choice (and cost!?!) of the first Rolex is the hardest to make - all the others (it is inevitable there will be more) should be a piece of cake

As soon as the metal hits the wrist, the pics (at least the attempts at them) will start rolling in

Thanks again for the support. You're a very decent bunch of guys (and gals)

J

I don't know. I just bought my second and had more anxiety than the first. I consider myself to be a practical person and buying two very expensive watches assaults my practical nature.

I love the watches though and do not regret it.

The watch you bought there is beautiful and classic. Congratulations.
