Buying a 14060 Submariner - opened to find 3035 movement?

Hey guys!

I took a look at a 14060 S serial (93-94) submariner today. Everything seemed to check out, but once it was opened, it seemed to have a 3035 movement, as opposed to the 3000?

Am I reading the picture below incorrectly? How could a 14060 have this movement? Did someone swap out the guys?

Rolex is well known for using chronometer winding bridge in non-chronometer grade watches. I too, do have a 3035 winding bridge in my SUB ND14060 watch as well. It goes way back to vintage watches as well where Rolex used chronometer winding bridges in non-chronometer watches.

A cal 3000 is just a cal 3035 without a date complication all the mens 3 series line up are all based on one movement. They just add or take away a complication, just the the car industry today many cars share the same floor pan just different names on the bonnets.

Shouldn't the bridge over the balance wheel look like that?

So some 14060 subs originally came with the 3035 movement?

Or is this suggesting that in repair / service, someone slipped in a 3035 part for the movement.

On the cal 3000 3035 its a balance cock and not a balance bridge thats only on the later 3 series like the cal 3130/5.
