Omega, real or fake
Hello, I saw this Omega witch I kinda like, I don't own an omega but now that I see this one I did like it, though I would like to know if this one is real, there are no Omegas stores in my side of my country and the watchmaker is out of the country, in almost sure if I show him the watch he will tell me if is a gen watch

FAke. The movement is an ETA 2824 or equivalent and the dial claims co-axial which is an in-house Omega movement. I've seen these fakes before....also...I don't believe Omega uses display backs on this thier watches.

Fake. The display back is correct for the 8500 PO but that's not an Omega movement inside. It's an ETA or clone with a fake Omega rotor attached.

Yep, movement is all wrong. Also, the numerals on the dial are the wrong shape, there's a weird green tint to the crystal, springbar slots in the endlink are machined sloppy, there is way too much space between the one endlink and the case, and the dead giveaway (besides the movement) is that the bezel markings are rubbing off.

I am far from an Omega expert but it just looks cheap. Pretty easy to see that IMHO
