Steel Rolex watches. Gold hands etc...

Hi fellow rollers.
I have a 2004 gmt coke bezel.
What I would like to know is which of the steel versions have gold content. I think i have heard that the hands of the new ceramic bezel submariners are made of white gold or have white ggold content.

Can someone please clarify which have white gold and which do not. Thank you in advance.

All professionnal models of Rolex since cercled indexes and/or Saphir Crystal have hands and indexes made of gold. It corresponds roughly to the end of the 80's, and that includes yours.

Actually , all Rolex with no exception have gold hands and indexes.

Even vintage without applied lume plots? I didn't know that, if indeed it is so.

Wow. Thought it was only post ceramic bezel models.

If you consider the late 1980's produced watches "vintage" then yes.

On the really old ones with pie pan dials, Rolex used the sigma σ designation on the dial to indicate gold hour plots and hands.
