Can't beat MJ for sunglasses. I've worked in the eye business for literally decades and used to try just about every brand available but the go-to glasses are Maui Jim in the bronze lens for PacNW overcast days for the contrast or grey for bight sun.

Sorry about the theft - it is truly maddening.

You can't go wrong with Ray Ban / Persol / Oliver Peoples.

MJ have the best customer service, but I can find a pair that fits me. I like Ray Ban and Persol. Persol looks really nice, I think.

Edit: that was fast, OP.

When I called CO home:

Summer -- polarized Oakley
Winter -- non-polarized Natives, for snow/ice

I have a strange melon, and (unfortunately) MJs never fit my head properly.

Edit: oops...I see you already replaced them!

Have to agree with the others here. Get a replacement pair of Maui Jim's. Best lenses and polarization. I own two pairs and could not imagine getting another brand.

Glad to hear that you replaced them.
My daily pair of knock arounds are an old beat up pair of Ray Bans but for riding or driving I rock Persol and Serengeti.

My prescription glasses will do me they have quite good transition lenses, so cannot see the need for in most cases very expensive so called designer sunglasses.

Sunglasses, like shoes, are a matter of taste and quality. Anyone who chooses 100% UVA/B, Polarized lenses will do best when battling Mr. Sunshine.
