Royal Oak 15450 - very impressed!

Hi all

Tried this on today and am very impressed. The dial is unbelievable - photos don't do it justice. I just loved everything about it, 37mm size, date, polished/brushed steel case and a very nice bracelet with solid deployment clasp.

Anybody have any comments with regards to movement - is it reliable?

Cheers

Fits u perfectly! But do note that the 37mm may b harder to flip than the 41mm?

Like a glove! I always find that silver dial to photo more white than in real life, whereas the 15300 had more white, which I preferred. It's a hard watch to fault that royal oak.

It is silver. My gold ROC and the 15300 are white dials.

looks like the perfect fit! with that bracelet, classic bezel and chiseled dial, bigger isn't always better.

Mine says hi too. Had it for 6 months and love it. My wrist is about 7 and i still find 37 to wear better than 41, especially for more formal occasions. Movement is great, though it has been running a bit fast

Splendid

You are right, the dial looks marvelous and the colors change depending on the angle you come from. A small downside is that the legibility suffers somewhat compared to the dark dial versions of ROs.
Wish you the best for your choice in case you go for one, no matter if new or pre-owned.

Interested to know as well.

I wonder if the ladies 37mm ro plots would work on this? I spoke to the service centre and was told that its diff. But to my untrained eyes, they look the same.

Same entirely in-house movement as the 15400 and 15300, all of the divers, and is related to the millinery. It is also the base movement for the all of the ROO Chronos, with a Dubois Depraz chrono module installed on top.

So if you're wondering about reliability, it's as reliable as nearly every automatic AP makes at the moment.
