Explorer II 16550 , back from RSC …
I’ve been visiting my son in Kent this week, while I was there took the opportunity to drop into RSC at West Malling and collect my Explorer II.

Freshly serviced, new bracelet & ready to rock-n-roll

Apologies in advance, as I’m sure you guys will get fed-up of seeing pics of this constantly on my wrist for the next few months.

Apparently yes , questioned RSC on that point several myself as I'd bought the watch without the divers extension

The 93150 Sub bracelet was an extra cost option on all sport watches at the time. If you have the original warranty paper, the last 4 digits of the model number will clue you in to how the watch was originally equipped (9315, 7836, etc.). Without the paper, there is no way for us enthusiasts to know for sure. But perhaps RSC has a database that they can check by referencing the serial number.

Great info, learn something new here everyday.

Sadly I don't have the original warranty documentation but as you say RSC may have a database & they were confident that the 93150 should be fitted on this occasion.

To answer SUBversive , the original (the one fitted when I bought it) was pretty beat-up & stretched beyond redemption, figured I'd have the new bracelet as it will certainly see me out .
