The green can be a bit hard to match up with clothing sometimes. I don't wear watches at all during the week, only at the weekends and time off

The other option is I keep the hulk and just buy the 114060, but I think the LV would get even less wrist time then
I wouldn't because your colleague see something very special about what you already have.

I'm thinking there is nothing more iconic than the sub. How can you go wrong with that watch?

Both grabbed from another thread. I hope I haven't ruffled feathers. Note neither have dates on them.

USD 2k plus 114060 would be more fair. I really like both.

Don't do it. While the sub is iconic, it's so ubiquitous. The hulk is rare and gorgeous. You don't have to match anything with it. It's a hulk. It's not supposed to match!

You know what I meant! The standard black sub is exponentially more common. Yes both are wonderful. But don't trade one for the other.

love this.... Thanks

I have decided just to buy the 114060 off him for cash. I can now take my time and decide what I'm going to do with the Hulk. My only fear is that it will get even less wrist time now

I had same exact offer a month ago- trading my hulk for 114060 with $1600 coming to me. I had to pass because I added 116613LN black dial during the trade talks...

I understand most hulk owners here have at least a black dial watch or two. I always wanted to add black dial sub. Now 116613LN is doing enough() for me to not think about another black dial watch.. IMHO, it's very hard to complete any collection without any black dial Rolex.. cheers.

Well, if it isn't getting wrist time and you don't like as much, thats a different story. I love my LVc but if you don't, move it and make room for what you really like. These things are too expensive to just sit around in a box because you "sort of" like it.
If it's in a box sitting around, then it's because I reeeeally really like it, and that's different.

For the longest time I couldn't see the LVC as a primary daily wear rather than a nice addition to a collection. After seeing countless wrist shots my tune has changed significantly! The green is just so distinct and beautiful! That being said, if it's not getting the wrist time or you don't feel the same enthusiasm when wearing, then it's time to move it on. 👍

What does this have to do with trading a green Sub-Date for a black Sub?

1104060 is a great watch; it's my favorite in the Rolex line-up. I wouldn't hesitate personally.
