Almost bought a fake
Bought a watch on ebay and after paying informed him that I would have it authenticated and he immediately cancelled the sale, telling me while setting the date for shipping the crown stripped. The sale was cancelled within 2 minutes of me telling him that I was going to take it to an AD to checked I called him on it and he emailed me telling me that he only cancelled because he is an honest seller and would never sell a broken watch. He emailed the next morning and told me he took it to a jeweler and had it repaired (he emailed me @ 7am his time, don't know of any jewelers open that early) relisted on another ebay account and it sold in 20 mins. I checked the sold listings and wasn't surprised that he was lying. Never sold the watch. Here is the listing the band looks fishy, also took him at his word that the Cyclops was buffed down so magnification was off. Here is the listing, I would like to know what you guys think.
