Replacing the insert

Hi,

When I used to have 16710, it was easy replacing the Pepsi, coke and all black insert, while keeping the spring in place and everything.

How easy is it with 1675?
Which insert are relevant for this model?

Any input will be welcome.

Very easy, just pop of the bezel and press out the insert with your fingers, same way pressing it back.

Acurate inserts for the 1675 is pepsi blue/red and all black.

The GMT 1675 and 16750 do not have the small click-spring unlike the 16710/16700 which do. It is much simpler to change the insert on the older acrylic models in my opinion. Good luck.

Has anyone else with a 1675 had trouble with inserts not snapping in all the way around when using only finger pressure? I usually get it positioned over most of the dial with my fingers and then come in with a pair of pliars and gently press the remaining portion in while protecting the insert and ring with a sturdy cloth to prevent scratching. Using light pressure I position the pliars on the extreme outer portion of the insert only, as otherwise it may bend.
