When will there be a new face yacht master?

I very much like the overall design of the yacht master 40mm steel and platinum.

The case I absolutely love, and the bezel.

What I dislike though is the blue face and the orange second hand. This might be easier for boaters to be able to quickly reference how fast their are going but I just don't like it aseptically.

I was thinking that a black dial would be nice, but maybe that would clash with the bezel?

Do you think we are likely to see a new face? I dislike the older silver face even more than the blue one.

I think a white face would be nice.

I wish they would bring back the MOP dial!

First let me compliment you. You said SS and platinum YM. I have seen them referred to as platinum, and one was even for sale on this site only using the term platinum throughout the ad, and not mentioning SS at all. A new buyer might have bought it thinking it was solid platinum.

I kinda like the current dial choices. And with the YMII at a larger size, I imagine Rolex will keep the YM at current size, although they may offer more dials. Hard to know.

It's a Red second hand isn't it? to match the red YM script on the dial?
A superb watch, great colour combo, which, if I'm not mistaken are a 'nod' to the America's Cup (Red, White & Blue) - definitely my next purchase.

Blue dial and RED hand works perfectly, Rolex has enough black dial sports watches.

Orange ?
Not red ?

I thought the Milgauss is the only Blue sun Dial / Orange second hand ?

If it's really orange, i'd be concerned and where did you buy it ?

Can we see pics ?

And I don't think this is going to happen,
The YM has exclusive dials/PT Coated Bezel that separates them from the other sporty series,
Which I like,

I personally think the Blue YM Is absolute gorgeous, You can recognize it right away.

Agreed. The blue and red hand compliment each other nicely. The platinum dial and red hand is a classic and should not be changed (wearing mine today). Although a black dial Yacht-Master would be stunning, there are already lots of black dial watches as mentioned by AK797 above.

The blue and platinum dial should be something the Yacht-Master can be identified with. Rolex did an upgrade to this model last year. New dial colour (blue), upgraded clasp and bezel (if I remember correctly). It is now, in my opinion, the perfect Yacht-Master model.

Agree. I've actually got the upgraded version in the platinum dial.

It's a super watch. Great blend of sport and class.

I like it as it is, if it had a black dial it would be a Sub.

The white-face Yachtmaster already exists and it's gorgeous. TT and YG only, though.

Maybe there will be a green to match the Green Sub?

I really need to see this watch in person to see exactly how the blue looks. Managed to find a YouTube video of one and it looks quite nice. My gf seems to think it's a nice watch from photos.

So maybe this watch is quite nice in person, like you guys say.

Was it just the clasp that is changed from the older model? Is the case the same? If rolex haven't made the lugs bigger than this is probably a good watch for me, I dislike the larger lugs and crown guards on the ceramic subs a lot because I have small wrists.

Second hand is red and not orange.

And I don't see how Rolex could improve this watch, it's a beauty.
