Insurance payout....nearly !!

Well guys, I;m nearly there with my insurance payout on my Bluesy (after my burglary)..

I am still unsure whether to replace the T/T Blue Sub, or go for these 2 instead :-

Name: SUB LV.jpg
Views: 246
Size: 109.1 KB
Name: OMEGA PO.jpg
Views: 244
Size: 63.3 KB

I've always loved the LV and it'd be a good alternative to my Pepsi GMT, and I'd get the Orange alligator strap for the PO as well, meaning I'd have a watch with a strap for the summer months (dress down t-shirt etc)..

What do you think

IMHO I would say go with these two. My old SMP bond style will one day be upgraded to the orange PO.... and the leather strap will make the package more versatile as you say. What an addition to your collection this would be..... :-)

Go for the LV, it's a great watch! That being said, mine has seen no wrist time at all since I got my Pepsi GMTII on Tuesday.

The LV is tolerable, but if you go back in time, you'll see my healthy dislike for the Orange PO. Just something about that color scheme that turns me off.

But it's your choice, so don't let me influence you in any way.

Whatever you do, good luck and enjoy.

I'm going to mix it up a bit:

How about the LV and a DJ 116200? Then you'll have the GMT for work, LV for play, DJ for dress. You could throw a NATO on the LV, or even a leather strap on the DJ for casual dress.

Just my $.02 because that's what I would try to do

Great option, but £1000 more than the PO, and if I was going to spend more then I'd opt for the Polar Exp II + I worry that I won't wear a DJ as a little small...

Thanks for the thoughts gentlemen - much obliged... I'm still confused tho

Dan

As much as I adore my LV (I know other don't like it but I truly love it) I would say go with Bluesy.

The Bluesy is a truly stunning watch. If I was you, the only way I'd go for the LV would be once I had Bluesy back.

That Pepsi and your old Bluesy were a great combo...way more so than the Pepsi, LV and that errmmm Orange monster!!!!!

Go back to the gold links...I think you'll regret it if you don't!

The way Omega price their watches you get a much better deal buying the bracelet. If you want one later it will cost you $500 USD, or there abouts. I understand it's orange becuase this color shows up better than any other underwater. One thing that concerns me about the co-axle is maybe there are not many watchmakers who would know how to service it? And Omega service is notoriously slow. The three watches have totally different looks, so it's tough to give an oppinion on which is right for you.

Not feeling the bluesy - just MHO.

The LV is an anniversary issue collectors item in the future. Personally, I like it better myself!

I don't home much of an opinion to help you out, other than I am going for the TT Blue sub with my insurance payout money. I was robbed earlier this month, and they took my SS sub.

Just wanted to tell ya I know what you are going through, and I am wishing all involved the best.

If you don't mind....

Did you have a separate jewelry policy or was your jewelry covered under your homeowners? Either way, how has your experience been getting reimbursed....

Thanks

My watches are separate from the contents policy.. Experience has been frustratingly slow - I was robbed on Feb 12th, and still no sign of cash
