Just picked up my first and hopefully last rolex.

A big hello to everyone.

As with any new purchase I am happy to be joining this forum with all of my fellow watch enthusiasts. I plan to browse around and build up some knowledge on the subject. The reason I say last rolex is because, if its anything like my car addiction, I hear that this watch interest can quickly turn into a hobby, which can lead to full blown addiction.

My first initial love was for a certain watch company, but as of recently I was introduced to white face rolexes and I fell in love. It was a white Daytona that caught my interest, but after being introduced to a polar EXP II, there was an itch on my wrist that I just couldn't scratch.

Anyway enough about me, here is the watch that I hope to hold on to for a while and maybe even hand down to my children.

True. When I joined, I'd just bought the TT Sub C pictured to the left to go with the DJ I bought in 1987. I recently added a Polar Explorer II, making it a total of 5 in the collection. In between I picked up a Sub C LN and a Sub C LV.

Congrats! That was almost my first Rolex but in the 11th hour I zig-zagged over to the BLNR. There is a high likelihood the EXP II will be my next... 2015?

Welcome to the forum family.
The day it's your last Rolex is the same day you wake up on the wrong side of the lawn.
You've just opened the door to a whole new world.
Enjoy the journey my forum friend
