Submariner Reference Question
Hi all,
I am wondering if someone can point out the difference between 2 reference numbers I have, I do not know what the difference between them is considering one is a 'V' serial and the other is an 'M'. References: 16610LV & 16610 T What is the difference between those two? What does the 'LV' and 'T' mean and how do they differentiate? They are the same watch only 1 year apart ... |

LV = Lunette Verde..... I think it's french for Green Bezel
I forget what the T stands for...I'm sure someone will chime in soon But both watches are the same between V and M serial |

You're correct about the LV...the "T" stands for Tritium, which is the material that makes the dial and hands luminous!!

T stands for no lug holes through the case.

T stands for "trous borgnes" , blind holes in English. (To be complete and rigorous "aveugle" stands for "blind, when both eyes are out of order. "Borgne" is when one of your eyes only is out of order.) |
