Thoughts on this 6263?

Hey all, so I found this 6263 recently, and I'm very interested in it. Full kit at a VERY VERY good price (lower than I've seen them without B+P) but she's definitely a fixer-upper. But I was hoping everyone could look it over and tell me if they think it's worth the money and effort.

Oh, and by the way, I'd be buying this to wear and cherish, not to flip. This is my grail, so I don't mind putting in money to fix her up. I think, investment wise, even still it'd be worth WAY more than I'm paying, by a factor of USD$10k... (or close to)

Here are my pro and cons list:

Pros
- Stellar clean movement
- Box + Papers (Box + Garantie + Receipt, no Instruction Manual)
- Case is good
- Dial is nearly perfect (a little flaking of one of the lume dots at 9)
- Bracelet stretch not too too horrible though
- Came from original owner.

Cons
- VERY slight corrosion on hands. Super minor.
- Top Pusher isn't in fully
- Bezel needs replacement (but it's wearable in the near-term)
- Filthy (toothbrush + soap)
- Movement Hour Hand Subdial not resetting to zero - needs full service IMHO

It's an 8mil serial, and the pushers and dial match, as do the papers (I blurred out the whole serial) to the case.

Watch looks OK, not super clean, but not a total disaster either. Case looks fairly average, dial looks good. Bezel needs replacement, as you state. Papers are not a big plus in this case (whether or not from original owner), as handwritten papers add no real collector value for this type of watch. Fairly loosey bracelet. Watch looks to have been worn hard, but I know who has it, and you aren't likely going to get robbed or ripped off either, they are honest folks. If you have the desire for a bit of a project, and don't mind that it will never be perfect, go for it!

Oh yes, one other thing-- if the watch really bears an 8M serial, then that is probably not the original dial to the watch either.

10K$ for a 6263 with box and paper, it's just a miracle when most of them are above 25k€ without box and paper in Europe.

Double check it's a real one and if it's the case, go for it, you will never find one at this price.

I think you misread. In his opinion, the watch is UNDERPRICED by $10,000. I am quite sure it costs more.

1) movement
2) back inside
3) case and reference numbers between the lugs
??
otherwise is like to have unprotected sex with an unknown person ....
btw dial is certainly correct for a 8 mill. case range
about the paper .... which paper ???
and beware of bargains .. most times there is a rat inside ...
just my 2 euros .. LOL LOL LOL
