Calling AD when watch is at RSC

Waiting to get my watch back from RSC. I sent it in through an AD. It has been 31 days. 27 since I authorized repairs. I don't have a relationship with the AD and don't want to overly bother them.

Do you think I should call to ask for status?

Can I call RSC directly and inquire?

Anyway after 15 years I am getting tired of not having my watch.

Thoughts?

I know that over here when a Rolex gets sent for a service, depending on the model it can take anything between 5-8 weeks sometimes more.
So I shouldn't worry to much about it.

RSC is probably very busy in the states right now. After the last price increase, everyone looked at their current Rollies and said "well, might as well send mine in for service since I'll be keeping it for awhile!"

When I called RSC in NYC they told me it would be so much quicker to send it myself, pay the $20 and deal with them directly.

They said if I take it to the AD it may take the AD a week to send it where I went right to the Post Office after the call.

I was without my watch for at most 12 days.

It was well worth the $20 and dealing directly with Rolex plus I got the all the extras they sent with the watch and the AD didnt have a chance to snatch them.

I would just give them a call - they will be able to tell you where it is in the process and how long it is likely to take - it will put your mind at rest and I am sure they will be happy to help. In any event the wait is worth it when you get your watch back - you will be amazed

Just dropped off my SS Daytona off at RSC. They told me 3-4 weeks. You have to add a little time for shipping. The # for the one in N.Y. is 212-758-7700

My watch took up to 12 weeks at RSC in Dallas...its a 63 SS OD...I believe the older models may take a bit more time to service...as they apparently had to order parts overseas...but it was well worth the wait.
