IMO great lines and lug shape but I wish it had been done in 42mm.

The SD4000 is my favorite of the current production Rolex steel sport watches.
It is a well thought out update of the 16600 Seadweller. I was not 100% convinced until I had one on my wrist and wore it for a few days. |

Personally I found that the SD4000 wore less bulky on the wrist because of the thinner lugs. The SD is pretty much the dive watch I would get if I had that kind of money. I think it would have been perfect if they matched the matte dial with a matte ceramic bezel. Then i'd buy it regardless of budget i think!

Had one for a short while after release then moved it on to a friend, so am now back wearing my 16600. No doubt, the new SD is an incredible watch with all the latest technical advances on board. I found that it did feel a little more 'flash' than the 16600, mainly down to the ceramic bezel, but that aside, all else felt very good. It also sits very nicely on the wrist and felt very comfortable. Might well go for another in the future!

Question... is the date window the same size as the Sub w/ Date, or is it enlarged to make up a little for the lack of cyclops?
