Daytona paperwork
Still waiting on my Sub Date to return from RSC. I finally called Friday and they said it should be here this week.
In the meantime I have been admiring the Daytonas. Is there a manual online that I can read that explains how the bezel and units per hour works? Maybe there is a scann of the instuctional booklet? Fordex +35 at RSC |

I'm sure Bo has a printout of how the chronometer works. Basically you clock a moving unit over a pre determined distance and the speed can be calculated with the "sweep" hand. I just don't know how to explain it in words. I'll wait until someone chimes in with better info !

I doubt most Daytona owners ever use the functions. I don't!

I agree. It's neat to have the features, but I can imagine no place I would go where I'd NEED to calculate speed with my watch.
I will admit though, I read the books cover to cover though, to learn how it works. Pretty neat. |
