Congrats on your fatboy. I sold this last year and miss it dearly. I would just get started on doing what you want to it and say the hell with the warranty. Twin Cams dont break down. That engine is good for a solid 100k for sure. And it has the updated cam tensioners and i believe the self adjusting primary chain tensioner too. Keep the fluids changed and use synthetic for the tranny and you will be good to go for years to come.

Nice Ride!!!

True on the durability of the Twinkie, but one of the Murphy family lives in my house. If something can go wrong... ;-)

I'll just wait for the warranty. It's only two years. I let the dealer do the MX until then, this way if they find something, THEY can fix it under warranty.

Once it's no longer under warranty. I do all of my own wrenching. It won't see the stealership again.

Mission accomplished. Just got in from another awesome day riding. Beautiful day!

There are Screamin' Eagle performance parts you can put on that won't void your warranty

True, but there are better parts to be had. I don't want to buy SE, then a few years later upgrade again. I am a buy once, buy right kind of guy.

<--- Back to work... Have to recover the bank account. It was a fun weekend though. Thanks for the replies all.

Yes there are other companies out there like S&S, Jims, Delkron, Andrews just to name a few which make great products also. SE has worked right for me for 30,000 miles so no troubles there and for others I know. YMMV
