I doubt there is any confusing the two, but bad move by Tag.

A homage of a watch that was released last year is just another way of spelling rip-off!

Imitation may be the greatest form of flattery but it looks more like a move out of desperation to me.
However, with a list price of $2200 and a 25% discount, should be a very saleable watch to TAG fans.

They've moved from mimicking Omega to mimicking Rolex.

They're aiming very clearly at the Chinese market, with both the date an GMT hand set directly at "8" (even though it should be at 10 minutes past the hour going by the min hand position). I bet you'd find a very aggressive Chinese market ad campaign for this one.

I think it looks pretty good. Especially when you consider what they'll be available for on the gray/used market. Tag may not be the most loved brand but they make a solid product.

At least the Seiko is a quartz diver... not a replica GMT.

Hate to admit it, but it looks pretty sharp. I think the modestly sized markers, hands, and typeface are pretty sharp.

Still, a blatant copy is a blatant copy

You're right, I meant Heuer. I guess I used "Tag" because it's the modern day jargon for the whole brand.
