The bon bon series has been in the works for quite awhile. They are mainly focused towards women, but a few are considered unisex. There is a big push in RM to integrate the woman's line ASAP, and we will see an emphasis on this.
There are a few other men's pieces that will be introduced this year, (one actually will be considered unisex, but will be more manly) but not at SIHH. Two I expect will be a huge hit! One of which is actually a ROUND piece ;)

Back to RM???
I discovered life after my 5711/1a. Some say they were too "unsubstanial", and yet comfort was unsurpassed by anything I ever wore. Having worn too many to count, I am pleased with my new ultra thin RM 67-01 Ti. Comfort is the name of my game. |

I am actually looking to add this one back, but in TI this time. After having the 67-02 in my collection, the 11/11-03 is much less attractive to me. The 67 is under the radar, under the cuff, and has no weight. You end up looking down at your wrist to see if the 67-02 is even there with the comfort strap! I can't even tell you how many times I felt I lost it and was in panic. It's that discrete. Having put the 11-03 back on- it's not nearly as attractive to me as it was a month ago. I hate to say it, but it is necessary to separate the hype around RM and what works day to day. What I am finding more and more is that the 55 & 35 are more wearable than the 11 and the 67 is the most wearable. In fact- i'll go out on a limb and say that the 67-02 is the best wearing RM yet! JPS

I can assure you unless you have a substantial buying history with RM -- forget the 11-03 list. I have a bit of a relationship with two and both told me they cannot get me on the list yet.. I am not sure about the RM60

Any chance anyone has the latest price list from RM? Would be good to know which models are actually still in production.
Thank you! |

Hi all,
Not sure it's the right topic, but I am now quite keen to purchase my first RM. I am mostly interested in a classic model, i.e. RM35/55 or 30 in titanium / ceramic (also to stay within a reasonnable budget vs. other models). I understand these are the hot models, so I wanted to understand how long does it take to get one from a RM boutique without any relationship? Would it make sense to buy from a gray dealer if not available in boutique (risk of buying from gray, not building relationship with AD for future models, etc.)? Thanks! |

It is not easy to get the hot models from a boutique -- or even get on a waiting list. I am not sure about the difficulty of the 35/55 or 30 at this point but I have a bit of a relationship with a RM boutique and I was told they could not even get me on the list for an 11-03. I ended up with a RM 11-02 that I bought from a dealer but they are not getting stock and will likely disappear over time so my relationship may not be that helpful. The dealer told me to get pieces like the 11-02 he has to buy less sought after models. If you can get on a boutique list that is great but I think it is nuts to have have to buy 10-100s thousands of dollars of unwanted pieces just to get on future lists.
