Just tried on new Platona - amazing!
I have just been to my local AD and tried on the Platona. Was blown away by the weight and wrist presence of this piece. Pictures just do not do it justice. Made my SubC feel like a toy watch in comparison

Stunning! The weight and glossy shine make it one of a kind.

This new dial looks better to me in this photo than the previous photos I've seen of it.

A little afraid to try it on - they say it sells itself. Not sure I can say no.

Not that I will ever have one, but I have had the original on my wrist recently. REALLY like those ice blue-banded sub dials on this model!

It's a heavy beast that platona! When I tried it on I remember lifting my arm up and down and thinking whoa.

That is a beauty and agree the new dial looks much better in this picture than in others I have seen.

I tried one on in Vegas over the summer. It was an impressive piece. Sadly, the blackjack gods didn't agree with me so it stayed in the case.

Usually, I wouldn't be one for diamonds, particularly the round ones, but I think this is very tastefully done with the baton shaped ones. It's really very nice. |
