Get a really big flashy diamond ring, it will get noticed more.

If only new will do, then the GMT-IIC or Sky Dweller would be my choice.

Like you I wanted to make a statement with my first presidiums metal Rolex....you can not go wrong with a Daytona....especially on a strap. Good luck in your choice and congrats.
