Are replacement cases for vintage watches made in 904L or 316L Steel?
I was just wondering if the replacement cases for say a 1665, 16660, 1655, 1675 and 16750 etc, that have serial numbers starting with 43 and 44, would be made in 316L, as per the original, or 904L steel??? Thanks in advance for any info.

I would think that it would be 904L.
This comment is not based on any knowledge, just the c-fact that I think they would not have any old cases left.

If the watch is over 30 years old I doubt they would even touch it...let alone replace the case.
