SD4C VS Sub No Date

Visited my AD today to adjust the size on my Daytona. While waiting I wanted to try on the No Date again. Planned on this being my next piece. I saw the SD4C and decided to try that on. I was shocked at what I found. The SD wears much smaller on my wrist and feels more comfortable than the No Date. I figured what I thought to be extra weight and height would be an issue for me. However I Found the weight to be a non factor. The case looks the same but for some reason it just feels better on my wrist. Maybe because it sits higher? The Sub Date also doesn't feel as comfortable as the SD. This just goes to show you really never know until you try things on. Haven't done any research but why does the SD feel smaller to me and in my mind that makes it more comfortable and fits my wrist better both physically and from a looks standpoint. Sorry about the bad lighting in the pic.

It sits higher so more comfy. The lugs and bezel make it also look smaller.

The SD-C case is more tapered at the lugs and crown guard and I suspect it is very slightly smaller overall. I've worn my friends SD-C back to back with my 114060 and I think they're very close in comfort, I don't think I could pick one over the other on that aspect, but the extra heft of the SD is noticeable. I prefer the lighter weight of the sub as I think it balances the bracelet better, but that really is splitting hairs. The SD is awesome in its own right.

actually though your wrist is big enough to pull off the sub. In that case for you I'd recommend the sub.

Easy to make an argument for either one. Sounds like the SDC is right for you.

There are about 4 different threads posing this question. A poll will run about 50-50.

I personally prefer the 114060, but it sounds like you have made up your mind. Go for it!

SDC wears just a little larger than Daytona, and the distance between case back & edge of case is shorter than that of SubC... so overall it is very comfortable :)

I would be doing the reverse, and arguing the case for the cheaper one when you like both about the same
