Time for a stupid question...

Hey guys, I just got my first ever rolex and decided on the SubC. I know almost everything about this model and its differences from the 14060M (the ceramic bezel and maxi dial etc.) But one thing I'm actually not sure about is the material the dial is constructed from.

Seems like a dumb question I know but I want to be as educated as possible so i can answer any questions i receive about the watch and not look like an idiot

Thanks!

Practically all of Rolex dials are painted or enameled brass. Today the indices surrounds and hands are solid 18k gold.

There are a few exceptions, like the Yachtmaster which has a Platinum dial disc; the Sub is not an exception..
