Restaurant suggestions in Napa?

Greetings TRF,

My girlfriend and I are taking a couple days in Napa and would like to try some new restaurants. What's the best plate in town? Thanks in advance.

I would have said The French Laundry, but you can't even get a good bottle of wine there now. ;)

Brix, it's a bit out of town, I believe North of Yountville.

Every wine they serve at the table is available in their shop. They grow all their veggies out back.

Cole's was very good too.

But I am sure they replenish in a day. The question is getting in there - being able to get a reservation.

Auberge du Soleil. Great views on the balcony, decent food, and nice wine selection. * Michelin star... but I don't hold that against them.

I think I read they are closing for renovations. Is this correct? I second Auberge du Soleil.

Thanks for the input. We ended up at Silverado for the weekend and tried Fume' on NYE. Great way to start 2015.

Was very happy with Brix. The roast chicken at Bouchon is absolutely amazing

The only thing I would add that hasnt been suggested is Etoile at Domaine Chandon

My vote as well. My wife and I honeymooned there in July. Great tasting menu for dinner and the breakfast is hard to beat with that view from the balcony.
