1970 Quartz 5100 question
Dear All,
This is my first post and my compliments on such a comprehensive and well maintained forum. I hope I am posting my question in the correct forum and apologies in advance for posting a question without introducing myself properly. Question: my father owns an original ltd edition Quartz 5100 in yellow gold purchased in 1970. Having fled from a revolution in 1978, the original box and papers were left behind and we have only the watch in near mint condition. Any suggestions on where / how to go about sourcing the correct box and papers? Thank you and wishing everyone a very healthy, happy and prosperous 2015 Eddie (London, UK) |

Papers are impossible. Box and accessories (books, tags) should be possible but very difficult. Even a photo of the correct set for this one will be hard to find. 1978 revolution...Iran? Welcome to the Forum.

Many thanks for the replies and it was indeed the Iranian revolution. I will post a few photos soon.
